KINDNESS IS MY SUPERPOWER:
A "Me & My _____" Event
Wednesday
April 24th
3:00pm to 4:30pm
Franklin Square Public Library:
3rd Floor Meeting Room
Developed with families in mind, the
"Me & My _____" series aims to help families living in this highly digital age step away from their screens and step towards service together. When registering for an event, children are asked to fill in the blank by inviting a family member to join them. (Ex. "Me & My Grandma ", "Me & My Dad", etc.) Families will enjoy interactive, quality time together while helping others and spreading kindness. "Me & My _____" events aim to strengthen family bonds and create a kinder and more connected world to live in. During this event, participants will listen to the story, Kindness Is My Superpower by Alicia Ortego and discuss ways we can show kindness during our daily life. Together, participants will play a kindness game and then partner with the Letters of Love organization to create inspirational greeting cards for patients in local children's hospitals. Registration required.
